STEAM
STEAM Education is an approach to learning that uses Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Mathematics as access points for guiding student inquiry, dialogue, engineering, and problem solving.
Art
Allowing students to express themselves as individuals using their gifts and talents, while accelerating their creativity through skills training and the use of computer animation and virtual reality.
Dance
Engaging students in health and wellness activities allow them to express God’s gift of movement and expression in their lives physically, mentally, and spiritually as a work of art.
Sports
Sport activities teach discipline which can be beneficial in all areas of life. Through sports, students learn tactical, mental and physical skills. Sports are highly beneficial to academic focus and mental clarity.
Culinary
Through culinary arts, students will expand their horizons in the area of life and career skills training. Led by a professional chef, Synergy’s culinary arts program provides a deeper appreciation for food in the areas of culture, food as art, and health and brings unity in the community.
Gardening
Gardens can serve as living laboratories in which students see and experience firsthand what they are learning and, in turn, apply that knowledge to real-world situations. When students engage in hands-on gardening lessons, they show an increase in positive attitudes towards content material and learning.
