Synergy Magnet K-12

From Enrollment to Employment

Dual Enrollment

Synergy Magnet K12 is privileged to have an Articulation Agreement with Indian River State College, which allows qualified students the opportunity to earn college/career credits while still in high school.
Dual enrollment is a program that allows high school students to simultaneously earn college or vocational/career credits toward a post-secondary diploma, certificate, or degree at Indian River State College that will also count as credits toward a high school diploma.
Students must meet with the Synergy Student Advisor before beginning the program, and twice a year for the duration of the program.
Students are permitted to take dual enrollment courses during school hours, after school, or during the summer term. Dual enrollment students do not have to pay registration, classes, or laboratory fees. Students must pay for books and provide their own transportation to and from college.
Early admission is similar to dual enrollment, except that students are enrolled in a college/university course or courses full time. They earn credits simultaneously toward a college degree/career certificate and a high school diploma.
