Ages 13 – 15 | Beginner – Intermediate
Students will have the opportunity to bake from recipes as well as create unique cookies of their own in this course. Just as the baking competitions require, students will refine their pallets and learn to mix and match flavors to mix their own ingredients into cookies uniquely their own. Guided by the Synergy Master chef, students will have the opportunity to bake in a professional kitchen and learn the tricks of the trade from a talented and experienced chef.
Objectives
- Identify & measure the proper ingredients using a recipe
- Create & bake using a recipe and a variety of skills
- Discover the culinary arts career and work with a real chef
- Apply the best techniques for making various types of cookies from their own recipes
